The Wildcraft School of Venusian Folk Herbalism May 28, 2026 21:47

Hi All,

Let me introduce you to my world. My life's work.

I grew up in a small town in Southeastern South Dakota. 4th Generation farmers on both sides of my family. Nature was my first love. From a young age I was spending time in nature alone and it felt like the safest place I could be. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of playing by the creek with a few horses and making altars and homes for the Fae. I lost those practices in my teen years like many of us do. I didn't find my way back until I was a shell of myself after getting a BFA in 2015. But my relationship with nature is what has kept me alive and kept me myself. I consider myself a lifelong student of green magic and energetic healing but I didn't start the work consciously until 2012. In 2018 I met Regina Compernolle and began my Apprenticeship with Sacred Earth Arts. This place was the incubator for all of these ideas that were growing inside of me. That life was about more than what I could produce. That creativity is an essential function of being a human. That the ability to be soft is actually a strength. Regina's mentorship in home herbalism, astrology, alchemy, magic and shamanism is the reason I am writing this to you today. Unstoppable women and Mother Nature are the core of life and personal philosophy. In 2022 I dedicated myself as a devotee of Venus and that is a choice that would change the course of my life. I stopped sacrificing myself and started loving myself the way I wanted someone else to.

In February of 2026 I started an Intuitive Apprenticeship with Marcella Kroll. This was a life changing and soul affirming experience. In one of the meditations she lead us into a room of stone that had a message waiting for us. In the stones I saw sigils for flowers and herbs, the ones that are so important to me in my heart and soul. In that moment all the pieces came together that allowed me uncover this message that I feel so blessed and divinely guided to share. Venusian Folk Herbalism is the theory and practice of all my life's experiences. It blends home herbalism and folk herbal knowledge, the Venusian principles of beauty, pleasure, nourishment, transformation and harmony with nature based spirituality.

I have learned that healing does not come only from treating symptoms, but from cultivating a sensory, emotional and spiritual relationship with plant allies, Mother Nature and our own inner worlds and cosmologies.

This tradition draws inspiration from:

• European folk herbalism • kitchen herbalism • planetary herbalism • green witchcraft
• celtic paganism • alchemical shamanism • Venus worship

In Venusian herbalism, plants are not only remedies.

They are also:

• companions • teachers • ritual allies • aesthetic inspiration • sources of pleasure and nourishment

Venusian herbalists believe that beauty itself can be medicine.

This approach emphasizes soft, nourishing, harmonizing plants and practices that support the nervous system, heart, reproductive system, skin and blood.

The goal is not copy a medical model to heal illness but to cultivate a life that is lush, sensual and deeply connected to the living world.

The first classes will be available here soon.

Until then, this page is the threshold.

A doorway into a world I have been playing in all my life.

The Wildcraft School is for the humans who want to know themselves deeply.

For the artist, the homemaker, the healer, the witch, the gardener, the romantic, the sensitive one, the recovering people pleaser, the burnt-out and busy, the person who wants to stop abandoning themself.

Thank you for being here.

All my love,

Quinn
